A MUST BUY!!

I LOVE this book! If you grew up with hip hop this book is a great way to bond with your child while helping them learn about music legends and of course their abcs ;-) With vibrant colors and awesome illustrations, the book is also super sturdy - perfect for an especially active little one. Cop one for your household and one for a friend or family member, so definitely a minimum of two :-) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This book is so great!! I've given it as a baby shower gift for new millennial parents and they looooooved it immediately for the illustrations alone! It's also been great to keep it around as kids learn to read it themselves and start to recognize legendary hip hop artists who came way before their time. Paired with actual songs, it's started a really fun music trivia game for our family!

Future Leaders With Swag

I absolutely LOVE this book! When I saw it, I just HAD to get one not just for myself, but for my baby cousin. It's so well done, with super cute illustration and catchy rhyme scheme. As a lover of Hip-Hop music myself, I appreciated the tidbits of information about each artist's style and image. My cousin really got a kick out of the book, which will be fun for them to read together now that she's of age. So glad Baby and The Beat made it possible for me to be the 'Cool Auntie'(/cousin) and come through with a unique and cool gift like this!

Big Kid at heart

Lots to love about this book. Easy to hold, flip and read. Be careful though… the added descriptions at the bottom easily turn into a whole discussion, even amongst the 50+ crowd. 👀 Obvious kids love it too!
